The Food Security Concertation has organized a program of activities aimed at bringing young people closer to the bio-food world and nature.

Urban agriculture initiation workshop
Free workshop, for young people and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old.
Meet in the garden of the Wilfrid-Bastien pavilion.
Demonstrate to participants that they can do agriculture in the city whether on a balcony or in a yard. Participate in an edible and utilitarian greening process in your community. Respond to a problem related to food security. Equip students and their parents to create their own vegetable garden to promote a certain autonomy.

A garden under the magnifying glass + honey tasting
Free workshop, for young people and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old.
Meet at the Parc Coubertin pavilion.
Come and explore a honey garden with a magnifying glass to spot all the little treasures that make it rich: the various plants, pollinators, their habitats and more! An excellent opportunity to observe the variety of living forms found there and their characteristics! You will leave with the desire to discover even more the world of pollinators and to observe them everywhere in town where there are flowers!

The chicken, much more than eggs!
Free workshop, for young people and teenagers from 6 to 17 years old.
Meet in front of the Library.
A chicken, of course, gives good fresh eggs. But by paying more attention to it, we realize that it has so much to teach us and offer us! This workshop allows you to discover the fascinating world of the hen and aims to highlight the diversity of its behaviors, which can all be highlighted.

Food discovery workshops
These workshops aim to develop a relationship of pleasure and openness with food. Games, tastings with the five senses and culinary experiments arouse curiosity about the diversity and origin of food and provide tools to better understand yourself as an eater.

September 20 at 4 p.m.: apples, at the Youth Caravan, which will be parked in Giuseppe Garibaldi Park
